Peter – And how does that balance against the Headteacher who was allowing the children in his school to say the F word 5 times, in any lesson, before anything was done about it? It is a confusing world.

This all seems to me to be part of culture of authority now whereby the causes of a problem are ignored and the symptoms punished. The drugs issue, for example, or the disaffection that so many young – and not so young – people feel.
